Hypothesis Factory is a venture lab that applies first principle thinking to find, fund, build, and scale ventures
While studying mechanical engineering at U.C. Santa Barbara I invented the coin sized Bluetooth Tracking category. The college project became TrackR, where we created the first coin-sized keyfinders. We scaled the company to ship over 8 million devices around the world. We were #45 on the Inc. 500 and +$50m in revenue. After raising a $50m growth round and hiring an executive team to take the company to the next level, I started Hypothesis Factory to help other founders with the scaling process.
Since then, Hypothesis Factory helped over 50,000 people get access to COVID-19 testing in 5 months. We identified a large, unmet need for autism therapy and co-founded Forta, an AI healthcare company, to help increase access to quality care for those on the autism spectrum.
In my free time, I serve on the board of Nomi Network, a non-profit that helps women and girls achieve their highest potential. We help those at risk or survivors of human trafficking gain skills, training, and access to safe employment. I love the ocean and you can often find me in the Pacific on a surfboard, boat, or diving.
We apply first principles scale ventures with great companies that fit our thesis.
We can offer recent, relevant experience
We see a path to scale
We can assist with fundraising strategy
We align with shared values
